| About Me | |
Having come to coaching from a career in retail spanning some 15 years I feel I bring a new edge and fresh approach to coaching. The experience I have had in retail has enabled me to become extremely skilled in finding out from people what they are looking for and working with them to achieve what they want, which are skills that fit perfectly into coaching. I coach people of all ages from all walks of life who may have small changes to make or large obstacles to get around. Two areas I feel are particularly rewarding are coaching young people and coaching people who have suffered life traumas. Coaching young people is something I am passionate about. Recently my eldest daughter has had to choose the subjects she will study for GCSE's and I feel it is such a huge decision to make about something that can, potentially, affect the rest of your life at such a young age. My work with young people assists them in finding the right path to take in life and how to start the journey with positive goals and attitudes. It can be inspiring to be in the presence of someone in their teens who has a real idea of where they want their life to take them and having the passion and determination to achieve it; and extremely rewarding to know that I started the journey with them. Coaching people who have experienced life traumas is also extremely satisfying and inspiring. Have suffered problems in two relationships and a long, difficult divorce I know how these experiences can have dramatic effects on people's lives. I am not a counsellor and there are somethings that are better dealt with by such a person. But I can make a difference in how people see themselves in the world. I have been in the same situation and life coaching has helped me to realise that anyone can have whatever they want in life and they can do it. That's why I'm now a Life Coach because I know what an amazing experience it can be to be coached and I can't wait to get to know you and work with you to live life to your full potential. Have you ever seen the film Forrest Gump? Do you recall the scene where he utters the line "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get"? Well poor Forrest obviously never had a Life Coach because if he did he'd realise you can know what you're going to get because you can make it that way. So if you want a life full of whatever it is you wish for, contact me now and start living that life. |
